Parkfield New School to meet with the DfE this week

Representatives from Parkfield New School have been invited to discuss plans for the school with ministers this week. Our application to open a 580-place free school in 2012 has been shortlisted from 227 mainstream applications received by the DfE in June this year. The group, who have appointed the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's CEO, Tony Spotswood, as their Chair of Governors, will then have to wait until the end of September to find out if the school can go ahead as planned in 2012.
It is not too late to register your interest for a place at the school for your child. Please register your interest here.
